Not sure if comparison is with express line (15mins to Makkasan city terminal > transfer to Petchuburi) or commuter (many stops) with nearest suk stop at Asoke BTS/mrt transfer. Guess if it's Ratchada, you get off Makksan main terminal

As for the baggage size, looks (from pics) that it's "standard" mrt size unlike HK or KL Sepang types:p

My dearest bro holymannn...since when i become taikor..i only go bkk shopping nia hor...i believe there are many many many taikor here. But if u wan to ask me about some places which can take mrt to bts..yes i do agree that i know but no cheonging places hor...again, in bkk i am still a newbie...jing jing na~

Just read the news that the airport train is still on the trial runs from 7-10am and 4-7pm. It will only be ready for service in two to three months times.
The train design is similar to the BTS train and slighty narrow in passage way and with the express service of 150 baths it will be more convinence & cost to take a taxis if more than two person or staying far away.
Today I was passing by I saw the Makkasan station was beautifully design and spacious.
