.

Seems like Old Trafford is their jinx ground.
Many years ago Roma also lost the CL semi-finals 7-1 at Old Trafford.

But not in the 2nd leg of Europa cup semi final which just ended a while ago which they won 3-2...the Red devils like capitulated in the 2nd half after a not too bad 1st half...Roma could hv scored 3 more goals had they hv better luck....

the defence again having problem with Eric Bailey back in defence...and Alex telles n the inexperienced Brandon William playing as subs...Cavani was the hero again scoring 2 nice goals :)...

anyway good to know they are in the finals again after being away since 2017...chances quite good to lift the cup this time round against Villareal who defeated arsenal in the other semi final..provided they don't play lousy players like telles etc and panic n drop their panties like wat they did during the 2nd half on this match

Yah....quite worrying as once Shaw and AWB were taken off....Telles and Williams totally lost in wilderness as replacements.
This is very worrying. And VDB once again proved lost. Didn't know he was playing.
But surprisingly, DDG got an outstanding night...stop at least 4-5 point blank Roma shots.

With the exception of Cavani and DDG, were the other lads too complacent? They must be thinking what so difficult protecting a 4 goal advantage.
In fact at HT, Man U was amazingly leading 1-0.
Then new subs come in and in a space of less than 5 mins, 2 goals were conceded.
This is something OGS needs to work out during the season break.

So, it is Man U v Villarreal. The yellow submarines aren't pushovers and good at parking the bus. As attest to their ability to hold the Gunners scoreless at the Emirates. Most of their games are low scoring affairs.

Think they need another prolific scorer someone like Kane of Spurs or Lewondowski of Bayern Munich who are interesting Chelsea n Man City to partner Cavani in attack to score lots of goal n at the other end get a good GK and defender to replace DDG n Eric Bailey to stop goals from going into their net if they seriously want to win the EPL next season...their present strikers like Rashford, Greenwood, Martial n James r just not good enough

Yah the knucklehead shd hv brought in Ahmad Diallo n another better player than B. Williams n Alex Telles as subs...understand B Williams is going to be loaned out...as for defender, i think they shd hv let Tuanzebe play i/o Eric bailey

And our matches with them are no-scoring affairs. Any player who scores first will be the first player in their club's history to score against the other club.

Villarreal 0-0 Man United- 14/9/2005
Man United 0-0 Villarreal - 22/11/2005
Man United 0-0 Villarreal - 17/9/2008
Villarreal 0-0 Man United - 25/11/2008

All the pundits think Utd will be too strong for Villarreal but I have a bad feeling when they are over-confident like that. Need the whole frontline to be on fire on 27 May.
