Bros..I was at NLD..Sensations and Baccara yesterday. I am quite sure there are a healthy number of sporeans now in Pattaya due to the holiday break. Seen quite a few with their Thai disco type girls in tow. Its a good sign that Pattaya is getting more popular. :)

yup about 75% of the guys I intro to Pattaya never looked back! Bangkok is good intro and if you have work or meetings there then bo pian la. But if you want to party , Pattaya is THE place.

Bad point is that it is getting more expensive with more tourist paying more for THE one! Agogo BFs 1000B was unheard less than 2 years ago not to mention a gogo girl asking for 5kB and above!

After going to Pattaya's agogo bars, I've never bothered to barfine girls from Soi Cowboy or Nana. If anyone wants to experience agogo bars, Pattaya is the place to go. But nowadays, the agogo prices in BKK and Pattaya almost the same price, especially at the popular Walking Street joints, only draft beer still much cheaper in Pattaya. One disadvantage (or advantage depending on how you view it) in Pattaya is the need to bar hop a lot to find The One, whereas in SC or Nana, just need to go to the few popular joints and you've pretty much seen the standard of these places.

I still prefer Soi 6 in Pattaya for the laidback atmosphere; it is certainly a good alternative to Walking Street or even Soi Metro agogo bars. However, it is something I admit have to get used to...walking up and down the soi with girls (normally the ugly ones or ladyboys) coming to get your attention or literally grab you. Enjoyed going to Bro Soi 6's old bar to grab a drink, sit down, chat with other sbf bros and watch the ladyboys harass the ang mohs walking by...

But I have to disagree that Pattaya is the place to party. I guess it depends on factors such as age, price, and party preferences. For those that prefer clubbing type of party or MPs, BKK is still the best place to go. For agogo and a more laidback atmosphere, Pattaya is definitely better. I am a lao ah pek, so like to go Pattaya to chill out, but also young at heart, so like to go party at BKK RCA to flirt with the sao saos to feel young again :D

BFs are actually 1500 before 1am for the top aggs now like Airport n Sensations.
BFs in Bkk may be cheaper at 700, but the silly rule of having to buy minimum 2 LDs before you can bar fine the girl, at 200 a pop, brings up the cost to 1100 anyway.

Also unheard of back then is the girl having the option of being bf or not. Nowadays, one have to put on silly games to 'woo' the girl to set up 'chemistry,' so that one gets the 'honour' to pay 1500bf n 3000st for mediocre service from un-interested puyings. Wtf. Lol

Pattaya still have 600/700 BFs , its the gogo bars using the coyote angle to jack up the prices. Same same Bangkok but I am not too sure now as its been more than 12months since I stepped into a Bangkok gogo.

The girls always had that option of being BF or not. I think its now that they are making more money so dun need it so much (i.e. now so desperate anymore) and can pick and choose.

We (the tourist regardless or the country) are mostly to blame la. Everyone say 'only one time' just to get their ONE and pay over the top for her. For regulars and guys staying there , many will not pay the new 1kB BF.

Bar-hopping may not do it either. The 'One' is few and far between. Fuglies rule the roost in Patts aggs in my experience.

Years ago, it used to be one can at least find one or two gems at every agg. Not anymore.

In WS last month, bar hopped min 3 aggs per night over 10 nights, covering at least 15 different aggs. Found only 2 the 'ones,' one in Sugar Baby and one in Living Doll. The latter turned me down too.

In LK Metro, bar hopped at least 10 aggs, over the 10 nights, found one at Sugar Sugar. Had to 'woo' her over 3 nights before she 'consented' to ST. Knn. She claimed she hardly ever go out with customers. Witnessing the amount of LDs punters were throwing her way, guess she earned enough to not have to open her legs. Lol

All the top aggs like Sensations, Iron, Airport, even their coyotes although with bodies to die for have faces that cannot make it. Heavens Above, in Soi 15 off WS has to take the cake in fuglies. Not only are the faces unlookable, the bodies are like toads. And that's to the last girl. It was like a horror show. You know like that Star Wars bar scene with all those grotesque creatures. I couldn't finish my drink fast enough. 3 min n I was outa there, gasping for breath. Lol

So this fuglies deluge in Patts, either it's true or I am getting old and cranky. Lol

Soi 6 is amazing. I sometimes hope Geylang is like that so we can have a drink and have the option to fuck immediately while nursing a beer! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I cant say you are wrong. For me , there are many 7's and 8's there so acceptable la.

Pattaya has iBar/Pier etc so RCA cheongsters will like that. But for those looking for free fucks at RCA , please wake up! Even fat asses like me kena free fucks before but its either cultivated thru some time or thru a stroke of luck. People read report of free fucks at RCA and flock to the place maciam like its a free brothel and when they get back without one , start blaming everyone else except themselves for being an idiot.

You have a 1% chance of being lucky , chances increase with the size of your wallet , dick and level of handsomeness! Even casino with a higher of punter wins , still make money and leave people disappointed , what chances do you stand on a 3D3N visit?

Pattaya has new places opening up everyday. Even a more than 50 trips visitor like me are discovering new things and places every trip so who knows whats next?

The clubs along Walking Street can't be compared to clubs in RCA and Thonglor. Perhaps the closest Pattaya club to RCA and Thonglor would be Differ, got more local non-working girls, but atmosphere still not there. Perhaps if other bros have similar sentiments can explain it better... anyway, if anyone ever been to Hollywood in BKK, the Hollywood at Pattaya is way better in terms of atmosphere, and they have FLs around if you need company (see my previously posted FR).

I do agree that clubs like RCA and Thonglor are definitely not the right place to pick up for tourists. Most of the time will end up disappointed, perhaps 10% chance of picking up, but there is also that 50% chance that the girl you pickup does FL as well. If the intent is really to pick up for ONS, chances of picking up are definitely higher in Pattaya, but chances that the girl who goes home with you is almost 90% a WL or FL.

I also agree Soi 6 is under-explored. If not for the ex-Kawaii bar, I probably wouldn't have stepped there during one of my previous trips. There are indeed some gems.... gems in terms of personality and playfulness rather than pure looks.

Anyway, the intent for comparison is not meant to state which place is better; it simply serves as a reference for punters who would want to consider whether to go BKK or Pattaya, if time is a constraint. Both have their attractiveness, as evident from experienced chiongsters who have provided their inputs on this subject.


Wow, sounds like you were unlucky, or your standard is high :p I agree that generally fuglies rule the scene in Patts, but there are still gems around. Sometimes depend on luck and timing to find the 'One'.

Girls picking their customers are not new, happens even in BKK. Some girls have preferences, eg. they only go ST with Japs, cos ST is really ST, and many Japs tip as well. Some are just not 'hungry' enough, especially if they've met their quotas. Sometimes customers insist on bringing girls back to their hotel for ST, but they would rather do it in a motel nearby so they can have a faster turnover. My philosophy is if have to convince them to go for ST, then chances are they will also be a starfish in bed...so why bother.

Well said bro.. I've seen girls in Patt and BKK choosing customers and yes even we spend money to make ourselves happy, the girl must also be happy to take our money else nothing happy will come out end of day..
