from the highlights, man u dodged so many VAR bullets that they should be in the new matrix movie. but as a fan, a win is still a win, in times like this, dun care just take :p:D

fernandes looks to be the set piece specialist man u has been lacking due to prolonged absence of pogba. maguire scored from set piece, yay!

even during fergie's reign, he also did not manage to sign the players he wanted: gazza, shearer, ronaldinho. players choose not to move to man u for a variety of reasons: strong loyalty to original/boyhood club; playing style; the contract isn't lucrative enough; lower squad status/reduced game time; other big clubs potong jalan. and there is no guarantee that a world class player will perform when moved to a new club: shevchenko (ac milan>chelsea), torres (pool>chelsea), kaka (milan>real)

since the treble, man u have wanted to make statement signings, but not all panned out, like juan veron, fergie changed his formation in order to accommodate him and somehow the team started playing nervily against teams they would normally win. realistically speaking, UCL is a big factor to attract players, if man u can't achieve UCL, top players may not even bother, so ogs ends up signing players who are attracted by the contract/brandname. i think ogs may have to look to scandinavian players to improve his squad depth and sign players who give all for the team rather than start a collection of galacticos


next, the pogba saga is bs nonsense. i think he is trying to pull a rooney where he scores his last big contract which allows him to coast to the end of his career. ogs has to be decisive with pogba like how fergie with CR7. CR7 made it clear that he wanted to join real madrid but fergie convinced him to stay for another season and after that he honoured his word. i vote to let pogba go so that there is no distraction of "will he won't he" drama :mad:@#$%^&*:mad:

there is good reason why SAF boot this chap out last time.

but the final decision will mainly hinge on how well the new boy Bruno F will gel into the team and whether he will fill in the creative void which Pogba excel in.
Bruno seemed to have some chemistry w Fred.....

actually another player should be axed should be Martial. Yes, he got the important opening goal at Stamford Bridge...but apart from that, he is simply lazy.....not just that match but many matches.
tendency to lose possession is....alarming
with Ighalo in, more play time should be given to the new guy while Rashford n Greenwood are recovering from injury.

DDG also should be given a wake up call. His form is definitely dwindling. Recall loanee Dean Henderson.
But this young chap had worked his way up to #1 in Sheffield U currently.
So, not sure whether this is good idea if first team regular is not guaranteed.

overall a tricky situation for ogs, there is a glut of keepers at the club. DDG signed a new contract, nathan bishop was signed, dean henderson on loan at sheff utd. if ogs wants to rebuild, he has to take a giant leap of faith with henderson as No.1, but on the other hand the dressing room will lose another senior figure...

DDG - stayed on despite no BPL/UCL honours since 2013, the contract was a reward for his loyalty perhaps? overall still a top keeper despite some rare mistakes. verdict: GO if another club comes for him

sergio romero - decent backup keeper. verdict: STAY

lee grant - veteran backup to romero. verdict: GO when contract expires

dean henderson - established as No.1 at sheff utd, i vote for taking that giant leap of faith to be No.1 at man u, BUT another club has to sign DDG first. verdict: GO on loan if DDG stays, STAY if DDG leaves

joel pereira - has been sent on loans, not much news on him. verdict: GO as it seems like he didn't reach full potential

victor lindelof - retrain to MC to reduce heart attacks to the fans, otherwise a backup DC. verdict: GO if another club comes for him

eric bailly - unlucky with injuries, pacy DC to partner maguire. verdict: STAY

phil jones - injury prone, a 1st-teamer at a bottom half club. verdict: GOOO

harry maguire - top defender, threat at set pieces, has to be paired with a pacy DC. verdict: STAY

jesse lingard - lost form and focus with off-field issues, not setting an example to the youngsters at 27yo. verdict: GO

andreas pereira - much have been said, gripes many many, don't think he is cut out for english football, better to relocate to spain/portugal/italy. verdict: GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

fred - i feel the jump from ukrainian league to BPL was too much for him, could have gone to other european clubs first to improve his tactical discipline. verdict: GOOO if another club comes for him

bruno fernandes - alternative to pogba, takes time to gel with teammates. verdict: STAY

daniel james - exciting pacy youngster, ineffective as a striker though. verdict: STAY

nemanja matic - good DM but ogs will bench him if not for the injury crisis, unhappy with backup status. verdict: GO if another club comes for him

scott mctominay - established himself as a 1st-teamer, good MC overall. hope he returns to action asap. verdict: STAY


Attack
alexis sanchez - part of ogs' clearout, loss of form and injuries. verdict: GO but his wage is a big problem for any interested club

fred is an older version of pereira, at his age he is still inconsistent and his set pieces make ppl angry. he is a rotation/backup player at best, not an impt 1st team player. the brazilian who had an impact was rafael but LVG was ruthless with him wtf??:( he has smth against brazilians...

ogs is a young manager and the squad has been unlucky with injuries. yes he is quite imprudent by not signing sufficient cover in case of injuries, some slight over-tinkering with tactics and not ballsy enough when playing at home. but i don't think he should go, the club went thru a sacking phase and caused upheaval and instability. the mgt had a delusion that by appointing successful managers and spending big means BPL/UCL honours, but the past 7 seasons hv proved otherwise. if the team is struggling to fight relegation, it means his methods clearly don't work, and if he goes, man u becomes another sacking club just to survive in the BPL... :o

Tonight we have a strong team playing against minions, we also have home ground advantage, good pitch, good ball, good atmosphere, good fans and good reason to win.
Should United lose...... then infant manager OGS has to be SACKED !!!

Win 3-0.... not bad but still against watford a team that stand 19th in the league table... I really like ole as a player but as a manager manage 1 of the biggest club in the World? I don’t think he is the right person to do it...

Remember just recently not long ago, they use to lose to almost every team below them in the league...looks like they r improving wor but with the help of 1 or 2 new players like fernandez n removal of some deadwoods...

I am so impressed with Bruno..... he is really waking up the whole team with his skills and talents. Hope that he is not injured over the next 10 weeks. He might just get us top 4 finish.

Enough said about that crap Pogba ... just get rid of him !!!

And finally someone who really know how to take the penalty is taking them... as much as I hope they can get into champions league... but Chelsea and spurs I think do have a better chance den us... their best way to go to champions league is winning the Europe league I think
