What is your source for these figures? Are they the median cost of a new 3 room flat? Or are they the cost of the cheapest new 3 room flat on the market? Are your figures before or after grants and subsidies? |
Re: 1.2 mil HDB
These idiots got it so wrong.
Hdb is public housing. Which means it muz b affordable for all. If some idiot want to pay 1 million for it, then he's stupid. The gov should keep flats cheap n they can cos the land is owned by them. Even If private property is high, n economy is gd, hdb prices can increase bt gov can keep prices under control. Paying 100000 plus for new flats is Absurd. And no. A resale flat for few hundred k is nt a nest egg bt property mkt gone wild n its nt sustainable or desired |

Re: 1.2 mil HDB
actually , if you only need a roof top , consider those studio flat or two room one lo .
so long you are working , i think the downpayment of 10% isnt that hard to get mah . a flat let say 200k , 10% only 20k . can pay by cpf somemore got those nonsense low income grant . take a loan for 25 yrs lo . actually its easy lah . like i say , so long you are working ( let say working for 5-10 yrs ) a working adult ( 25-30 yrs old ) should be able to buy together with his partner . just work a bit hard lor . staying in sg ,nothing is cheap nor free . |
