Hey guys, I have been fliping the pages for the past nights from 1 to almost 200 and decided to stop.

However, this is my 5th trip to BKK within 2 years and have always been a lone trip.

I just wondering if anyone is heading there from Wednesday to Saturday this week? It might make a difference if a group hangs out together. :)

Anyway, just wondering if Hollywood or Bryan Tree (not sure if I got the spelling correct) is better? Is there a difference between these 2?

What is the difference between CM2, Spice and Bossy?

Hope the bros here can advise me on this?

hi bro.. went CM2 and Bossy with Bro Bushnell.. They are quite similar.. Mainly WLs. CM2 cover is 350baht+1drink and open until 2am and Bossy cover is 300b+1 drink open till late i guess.

Atmosphere CM2 is more like a chill out place and Bossy is more of clubbing.. Personally i will prefer CM2 coz i can take my time to look out for SYT. haha
and beware of the WL in Bossy.. the service dam cannot make it and overquoted themselves. if you are getting any of them make sure you bargain with them since it's Thailand after all!:D

Major Ratchayothin

Bros staying around the Rachada area might want to check out Major Ratchayothin (taxi around Bht80) area as a place to bring your tilak for a date or just to hang out and chill with your friends. Local area with plenty of eye candy.

Went to a local restaurant called Mehang (sorry no tel number or addy) last night. Its not a grotty "kopitiam" style restaurant so I think prices reasonable (big bottle Heiny Bht130) & food delicious with a live band playing Thai covers. Take the outdoor sitting overlooking the night market below. They also have 4 KTV rooms in the main dining hall where u can eat & sing but no hanky-panky coz its a glass wall on one side.

After dinner can watch movie, go bowling or do a bit of shopping (tip: clothing vendors on the roadside are cheaper than the market). There are a couple of Thai eating places across the street too. Will check those out the next time.

That's a great recommendation, Indianmagicoil. I've been there a couple of times and the talat just beside the Major Ratchayothin shopping mall (what's the name of that mall?) sells some really upmarket stuff (t-shirts, dresses) that won't cost a fortune. Pretty hip clothes, and very enjoyable night out the last time I was there. :)

Where is Mehang? It sounds like another great little haunt.

If going solo book from one of the budget airlines if got fare promotion or look for cheap airfare from one of the regional airlines sometimes its as cheap or cheaper than budget airfare.

Hotels just click on the sponsored link Bangkok hotels online reservation in Thailand.

anyone gg over bkk next week?

Bro kain78. I would recommend tigerair if you're on a tight budget. it's just a 2 hours ride, so doesnt matter if it's not that comfortable. And for hotel u can try book from bro tim over here at Bangkok hotels online reservation in Thailand.

Not to rub it in, but I managed to get $160 from Cathay Pac once.. :D

In any case, if you're planning for a trip well in advance, Tiger is almost always guaranteed to have the lowest fares. If you're trying to slot in a last minute getaway, though, check out the usual portals (Zuji is a good bet) - sometimes full-frills commercial airlines offer it even cheaper.

They seem to go in opposite directions - budget airlines sell tickets really cheap in advance in a bid to fill up seats (their business model is always volume), then nearer the date, as people become more desperate, they jack up their prices to take advantage of the economic law of price discrimination. Full-fledged commercials, on the other hand, focus on margins, so they always price theirs based on the full fare first, and nearer the date tend to compromise by dialing down their prices. When the prices converge, it's a joy to watch. :)
