To me, pretty average.

I bet Hernandez's scoring rate is better than Welbeck. But Moyes has this tendency to choose Welbeck for the bigger matches.
Wonder why...

Mata is cup-tied for CL. Logical thing is to put Kagawa in the central role behind the main striker - afterall this was the role he thrived in at Dortmund. And the opposition is German. But I guess we can dream long long.

I hope Fletcher plays against Bayern. I thought it was a great, disciplined performance from him against Newcastle. Almost reminiscent of Keane.

whoever they r, tink got no chance...sigh. Their best 2 strikers now lie injured & the other promising new wonder boy Mata is cup tied..

Yet that blockhead somehow only uses this formation when forced to do so by injury to RVP and/or Rooney. Makes me kinda wish he always only had one main striker available.

Starting to believe those rumours that he has something against Kagawa personally.

Yah, believe he got some vision, eyesight problems...got to see an optician.
so blind

On another note,
Great match away to Newcastle last night.
Mata n Kagawa were brilliant.
I like Mata's 2 goals. The first freekick very Pirlo-like.
Simply brilliant. Just curls it in. Perfectly placed.

The 2nd was a piece of confident. My heart skips a beat when he just check infront of the goal...but still scores!!
Any other player most likely would have just smash it...and likely rebound off keeper or a newcastle player.
Mata....checks a bit...reposition...n place the shot. Supreme confident.
Reminds me of Dwight Yorke.

Yes, agree wif u, bro lacoruna..Welbeck so, so only..but Mata was v. exciting !

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

my predicted starting 11 vs bayern :

1. GK : DDG (undisputed no. 1)
2. RB : Smalling (DM will be defending so opt for safer option than rafael)
3. CB : Vidic (capt courageous. he will want to go as far as possible with united in this year's CL)
4. CB : Jones (in by default as evans & ferdinand injured)
5. LB : Buttner (earned his place with a good display agst robben in the last game)
6. CM : Fellaini (defensive midfielder to protect the back 4)
7. CM : Fletcher (another defensive midfielder)
8. RW : Valencia (better than play nani there)
9. LW : Januzaj (he is the spark in the side besides mata who is unfortunately cup-tied)
10. CF : Rooney (he should be back from his toe injury to lead the counter-attacks)
11. AM : Kagawa (in place of mata. better to play him than wellbeck)

what do u guys think? :)

I dun think he will play kawaga,he will choose a player that he like

Re: Manchester United's Headliners, Articles and Rumours

Sad but expected results for utd fans i guess

Bayner 3 utd 1

Evra score the first goal in the game and bayner drew level with us within 60 sec i think! At least kawaga is in the starting 11 for today though i think moyes should not play ronney! He never make an impact to this game at all

Next game for utd,our current manager ex club everton!

Will everton win us and snatch 4th place from arsenal? Or are we gonna to do arsenal a favour?

Haiz... Moyes also suay... So many out with injuries, including Fellaini.
Not the strongest XII.

As sad as Ultimate Warrior passing away. RIP.

No wonder Nani not in the squad? Could have better fighting chance?

evra scored a beauty of a goal. too bad the players were still in a celebratory mood when bayern attacked and equalized from the re-start and caught united cold.

well, no champ league for us now. i am keeping my fingers crossed that it is for just one season.

as for everton, i think the more "important game" for them (or should i say united) will be the one that they will be playing vs City.

that may really decide the destination of the title. if everton win agst the title challengers, they will do pool a massive favour.

moyes had 2 transfer windows to strengthen the squad.
no doubt mata was a great buy. the june transfer window was like a joke. 1st was barca's thiago. we were led to believe he was coming. but when guardiola came calling, he packed his bags without a 2nd thought and joined bayern.
then moyes went for fabregas. how on earth he thought barca would sell fabregas just after selling one midfielder to bayern is still beyond me. and we all know that fabregas left arsenal for barca because barca is his childhood club.
will the next transfer window be different? will the glazers trust moyes with a reportedly warchest of 200 m pounds? will moyes still be around come june?

The Mirror reports that United's executive vice-chairman, Ed Woodward, will remain in Germany in an attempt to reach a deal for Bayern's Toni Kroos -- although on Tuesday the player's agent insisted he will be remaining at the Allianz Arena.
