Sorry to hear that, in the end I'm not doubting its an agency that is responding. I was pretty assertive that I wanted a specific type of girl to show up if I couldn't get the person in the ads. In the case of the first (Rachel) I do believe it was the person in the advertisement. It was pretty late so I was able to get what I wanted? Nonetheless, I'm sure its common knowledge that these agencies won't pass up any customer and if the person you're asking for isn't available, they'll just send whomever they can knowing the majority of respondents won't refuse service.

Two questions.

If she gave you her number... meaning you didn't ask for it, then yeah, it could be her number. You can use it to arrange another meeting. Indies do this to cut down on the whole "waiting at the bar" step of the process.
