Left BKK before they announce the coup and when landed back in SG, saw news of the coup, talk about timing!

Really jialat man, dunno when will it get better... Probably couple more months...

It is ok if u reach late night. Road block just show them your air ticket n passport. The problem is any taxi :D

Presently in BBK hotel . .Lucky bought DVD back to hotel to watch . if not you will see all TV channels displaying the flags

Internet still ok . At least they did not block sammyboyforum . You can see outside is a mess . all packing to go home , long queue for the bike . I was caught by the train station close at nine . Got to walk back from Nataree to hotel .Lucky within walking distance.

Nataree still open .Nataree captains all black face , as the business got to hit badly .

Ask my local friend , as long you do not roam around the street between 10pm to 5am , STAY INSIDE YOUR HOTEL . Dont go out to eat supper , anyway there is no shop to sell you . Bring your passport along when you go out during daytime . Shopping still normal

No internet = no 3g

Well well....like i was saying in the afternoon.....this afternoon's meeting was gonna be interesting...and well...this is how interesting it just got...wahahahaha...

1. Coup Declared
2. Curfew Declared (2200-0500)
3. TV Stations controlled (only broacasting Channel 5 and nothing really on except announcements)
4. Constitution suspended (except for Section 2 of the Constitution)
5. NOW...u can expected an Army appointed PM soon (not earlier as suggested)

For people with flights between 2200-0500....u can still travel to go to the airport (u need to show your ticket and passport) ...problem is, can u even find a taxi...own transport arrangements have to be made.

For those tat have booked tickets to come BKK now....I believe the Embassy has requested Airlines to allow changes to date of flights FOC as of now (different guidelines varies for different airlines)...so bros planning to change dates should change dates NOW becoz some airlines will only allow 48 hours before flight.

Those in BKK need to always have your passports with u please. If in trouble...save this number --+66 81 844 3580 (081 844 3580 if using a thai number)....MFA's Duty Officer (24/7).

hope the situation will improve soon. the last curfew lasted only a day, fingers crossed that it will be back to business as usual tml. i'm going tml and the thought of no night life is depressing.
