my 100 dollars per tip to local thai disco is based on going with a group of friends like 5 in a group. TD local those cheap types at golden mile or serangoon area.

orchard central area can forget about it.

Erm have an incident with them, board plane @ Bkk, when at take off runway,pilot suddenly say computer got problem got to delay flight for an hour.
Full house on that plane that day, everyone waited for three hour and not ready yet,no drinks or food serve. Aunties start to complain,air stewardess say sop onli after four or five hours delay then they serve food and drink for free(I forgot how many hours already) so we waited till 4hr55min. Engineers are still on board checking and suddenly the pilot announce we are ready to fly. As me and my friends are sitting at first row,I got to see what's happening. As an engineer myself I know the plane is not ready yet as engineers are still cracking their head on repairing the computer.

I ask the air stewardess,are you sure we are ready to take off? She reply captain call. Back to the take off runway again, everyone heard the engine starting up for 20sec and turn off eventually. I was shock and relief when the pilot announce again that the flight will be cancel.

Thats the incident I experience with Tiger and their back up plan can't work it as well, still remember during june or July period got a group of passengers refusing to get off the Tiger plane on the news. That group of ppl waited one day at the airport till morning for their flight, but they were told they can board the next flight which eventually not given till next day. I was lucky as I told them I want the next day flight and went back to hotel and go party till morning.

Mine happened during a Macau flight back to Singapore.
Was informed flight is cancelled and will have to postpone to next day's flight.
Got a night of free stay at a 3 Star Hotel. :p

Initially the management wanted to pair up 2 single travellers to a room! :eek:
Needless to say the more aggressive PRC passengers will kow peh kow bu.
I just relax, stand back one corner and let them do the negotiations. :D
In the end all single travellers get a room each. Hehehe. :p

This is a joke or an insult to Tiger :D 2 strangers in a room?? Tell them u dun mind sharing a room with the SYT stewardess if there is 1. :eek:

I was delayed twice till now. Once in Hanoi, due to bad weather the incoming plane couldn't land.... another was in New York, the crews were late due to traffic but they couldn't explain why the rest of the passengers who was also from New York city but not late.

Sometimes I wonder if our army can stand a prolonged war. Anyway thats another question for another time. This is the fucking not socio-political thread.

Of course its quite. Thailand is 90% a Buddhist country. 25th Dec is not even a public holiday! Its just any other day to a majority of Thais. Its just only recent years they started to "celebrate" Christmas milking it for all its monetary mileage as possible. You see this coming NYE celebrations... better book your puyings & tables early!

Neverland too big lah... also too many TDs in Spore. I was at another TD on Christmas and was full house. Now most weekday nights big TDs have problems filling up unlike say just 1/2 a year ago!
